Since 1985, Dr Dehaeck has been integrally involved with the Children’s Red Cross Hospital in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical problems that affect the gynaecological system of girls to the age of 13.

Her specialist knowledge in Paediatric Gynaecology includes treating paediatric vulval conditions such as Lichen Sclerosus, abnormal bleeding, chronic vaginal discharge, congenital abnormalities, imperforate hymen, hymen injuries, vulvo-vaginal trauma, vulval and vaginal lumps and ulcers, labial adhesions, pre-pubertal problems, early menstrual problems and any vulvo-vaginal itching, burning or pain. She aims to improve vulvo-vaginal health and outcomes of children with these conditions.
